Just a few quick shots of some tops I picked up whilst in London last week :) I was in London with my friend Hermione to work on the London Garments Expo in Islington, London. As her mum lives in London I was invited to stay with her only to find out that we had managed to bag a PENT HOUSE on the Embankment for the week, free of charge!

I only spent  day on Oxord Street but still managed to pick up a few bargains! My favorite piece has to be the GEEK t-shirt from topshop. Granted, at £18 it wasn't quite the usual steal I look for but I just couldn't resist it. I'll post some pictures of me wearing it, it looks great tucked into some denim shorts and allows a lot of movement which is perfect for when I'm doing work on others. 

It was an extremely tiring work but I gained invaluable experience and have been extremely motivated to produce some new creations to add to my portfolio!

I have decided to write my first make-up review. As a trainee make-up artist, I am always reviewing and testing new collections and try my hardest to keep up to date with the brands I know and love. I am always willing to try out new brands and love to find a bargain anywhere I can! 

I gave a lot of thought toward which product to review and came to the conclusion that I would blog about a  product that I am familiar with, one which I feel does not receive the publicity it deserves. For my first make-up review, I have decided to check out SLEEK. SLEEK is a brand that made its way onto the shelves of superdrug not that long ago.

As a make-up artist, I am always looking for eye-shadows with particularly strong pigments, colours that hold their own. I have tried screenface palettes in the past as well as MAC and NARS but they are obviously extremely expensive which is not always accessible to poor little students, I know! 

Any-who, when I found out about SLEEK, I decided to take a look at their website and was astounded at the colours presented on the web page, the strength of the pigments and most importantly the affordable price!

The palette above is called ACID. I have used it for a few shoots now and the black especially has impressed me rather a lot! At only £7.99 I felt I'd be mad not to get some and to my surprise I was absolutely delighted at the result! I first invested in the ACID palette which, as you can see, is full of bright and vivacious colours. I have also purchased the 'Au Natural' palette, filled with browns and natural tones which have been perfect for beauty shots.

As I was so pleased with the product, I have since bought three more palettes which I have found to be extremely useful! I highly suggest you check them out at www.sleekmakeup.com

as i have a love for everything studded at the moment, i literally jumped for joy when seeing this bag! at just £9.00 it was practically walking itself to the cash register. i also bought a lovely leopard print purse which i will show soon. the quality of the bag is much higher than i originally expected and it has so much space! the handle length on the bag makes it slightly annoying to carry over one shoulder, but at such a steal i just had to buy it!

so these are just a few acessories i've bought recently, im absolutely in love with the bowler hat and the bracelet creates an edgy look to any outfit. (i'll post some pictures of it on soon!) i'd seen so many of these sunglasses around but wasn't willling to pay the often extortionate prices for them. i took my boyfriend to london for his 21st and just had to pop to camden market where i picked up these white trimmed glasses for only £1.50. they've had rather a lot of wear but have made it through being taken to the usa and back! im so happy with this buy!
